||Capstone Training and Development is hosting a conference on 'Responsible Tourism - Empowerment of Women and Youth' on 2 - 4 October 2013 in Midrand.
The conference is designed to provide a comprehensive review of past and current development issues and emerging challenges on 'Responsible Tourism'.
The Keynote Speaker is Dr Sadiq, deputy representative and officer-in charge, UN WOMEN Southern Africa Multi-Country Office, Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr Sadiq is a human rights professional specialising in women’s rights and served extensively in conflict, post-conflict and developing countries. Dr Sadiq holds LL.M from University of Delhi and PhD in women’s rights from the Tamilnadu Dr Ambedkar Law University.
Delegates: The conference will bring together top policy makers in Southern Africa from various sectors representatives from ministries of women affairs, gender, education, trade, industry, agriculture, tourism and environment; representatives from tourism boards / associations in Southern Africa; representatives of civil societies women associations, youth agencies, private sector, NGOs, SMMEs and local authorities; Representatives of regional organisation and international community.
