At this year's GovTech, we aim to unlock the potential of information and communication technologies (ICT) in assisting national, provincial and local departments to work collaboratively to achieve government objectives.

The 2012 theme – ICT Collaboration: Across and Beyond Government – builds on last year’s exploration of Connected Government, but places the spotlight on the collaborative use of ICT in the delivery of citizen-centric services.

GovTech 2012 will explore the collaborative use of ICT to transform government service delivery, establish more flexible and collaborative workplaces; implement collaborative solutions to reduce costs and improve productivity; and encourage greater exploitation of mobile working technologies and collaboration tools.
