Three Key Conferences in Africa by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation: Digital Switchover, e-Governance and Cybersecurity.
The Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation is holding three conferences in Africa in early 2013 that will examine key issues impacting on ICT propagation that aims to inform stakeholders, build their capacity and facilitate multi-stakeholder partnerships.
With a speaker faculty representing both the public sector and the private sector including the Department of Communications of South Africa, ICT Authority of Mauritius, Communications Commission of Kenya, BBC, Orange, Multichoice and African Broadcasting Network, this conference seeks to provide guidance, critical information, solutions and insight on managing not only the digital switchover but also the post switchover environment, drawing on the experiences of other regions that have completed the digital switchover.
This annual event will be held in a leafy part of Johannesburg at the Holiday Inn Sandton ideally situated for both city and main transport hubs. Situated on the ninth floor with panoramic views, this event will also host an exhibitor platform, dedicated networking opportunities as well as both formal and informal evening gatherings and parties.
