In an effort to achieve a more accessible and open Public Administration (PA), the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Administration has developed a new eGovernment application available on the most common mobile platforms.

The 'eAdmon, all services in your hand' is a mobile app that combines the two prevailing trends in access to electronic services: mobility and interaction with social networking websites. It provides in a user-friendly environment access to all the PA's services that are available on social networking sites, thus enabling a permanent dialogue with the public wherever citizens and businesses so wish. In addition, it offers life-event based mobile services for citizens and businesses that were developed by ministries and public bodies.

'eAdmon' is adapting well to the increased use of a popular online social messaging service in serving as an information source. It contains the PA's news and events and provides a text-based timeline of PA goings-on in 140 characters or less.

The social networking profiles and services accessible from 'eAdmon' are updated by the PA, rendering it a trusted communication channel with public administrations.
