EU: Assessment of the E-Commission 2006-2010 Initiative - External Survey Extended until 15 October 2010
Source: epractice.eu
Source Date: Tuesday, October 05, 2010
Focus: Citizen Engagement, Internet Governance
Created: Oct 05, 2010

The Directorate General of Informatics (DIGIT) at the European Commission announced the extension of the external survey launched on 1 September 2010 in order to asses the progress achieved by the 'e-Commission 2006-2010 Initiative' and to shape the new e-Commission 2011-2015. The survey will run until 15 October 2010.

By filling out the survey interested parties will help assess the progress of the current eCommission 2006-2010 Initiative and provide valuable feedback on how to further improve the use of ICT by the European Commission.  The participants' responses will be used as a direct input to the new eCommission 2011-2015 action plan.

The survey is completely anonymous, takes a maximum of 10 minutes to be completed. It can be found here: http://ec.europa.eu/yourvoice/ipm/forms/dispatch?form=eComSurvey

The e-Commission 2006-2010 initiative aims to enable efficiency, effectiveness, better quality and more transparency for services to citizens, businesses and partner organisations as well as internal staff by making an optimal use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

At the same time 2010 is a transitional year, where the Digital Agenda for Europe invites the European Commission to "lead by example on open and transparent eGovernment by creating an ambitious e-Commission 2011-2015 action plan".
