Kazakhstan intends to move from Cyrillic alphabet to Latin one by 2025, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting dedicated to the 21st anniversary of independence on Friday.
"It is necessary to start preparatory work right now," Nazarbayev said.
He noted that it will contribute not only to the development of language, but also turn it into the language of modern media.
