S. Korea's Gender Income Gap Widest in OECD |

South Korea's income gap by gender is the widest among member nations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The OECD found that as of 2010, South Korean women received about 39 percent less wages than men, the biggest gap among 28 OECD members that had related data.
South Korea's 39 percent gender income gap is way higher than the 15 percent OECD average. It's also significantly ahead of Japan's 29 percent gap.
Germany and Israel follow at 21 percent and then the U.S., Canada, Finland, Switzerland and Austria at 19 percent.
Hungary, Poland and Spain had the smallest income gap of six percent.
