The Ministry for Food, Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries says that will promote community agricultural activities in which consumers directly participate in the production and distribution process.
The ministry said these community supportive activities involve producers and consumers signing contracts to supply agricultural produce on a regular basis or directly manage stores to sell the produce.
The ministry says it will back the establishment of related cooperatives and launch educational and consulting websites to nurture professionals as part of its efforts.
In addition, it will support the establishment of common workshops where seasonal agricultural produce can be packaged for delivery.
