China WTO Tribune has published its fifth Corporate Social Responsibility Benchmark Report, after an in depth look at nearly 350 enterprises.
Research found that nearly all enterprises value their relations with investors, customers, employees, and suppliers. As for strategy development and corporate governance, around two thirds of all enterprises include social responsibility in their corporate chapters, taking a five percent dip year-on-year.
Less than 70 percent have established a corporate anti-corruption system, nearly ten percent lower than 2011. As for information disclosure, less than half of all participating enterprises have information disclosure plans. But state-owned enterprises performed surprisingly better than those from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.
