This year, small businesses and private entrepreneurs in Surkhandarya region were allocated eloans totaling 113 bln soums. As a result, over 60,210 jobs were created in the region. The private enterprise “Minor STHF” in Jarkurgan provides about 30 kinds of services in the areas of trade, printing, photography and other fields. Along with improving quality and efficiency of services, it established its own production and employed young people. “Announcement of 2011 as the year of small business and entrepreneurship encourages us to further develop and improve,” said the company’s head Olim Normuradov. “It contributes to expanding the range of products. The next year, we’ll put into operation workshops for producing mineral water and plastic bags, and create over 20 jobs.”
