Azerbaijan: International Experts Give Voice for Uniting E-Government and M-Government Projects |

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Today Azerbaijan is hosting TeliaSonera’s
international conference “Mobile Communications & Social
Development" organized by Azercell Telekom and the Caucasus University.
Within its framework international experts have remarked upon for uniting programs on e-government and m-government.
Ibrahim Kushchu, founder-director and associate professor of the
International Consortium of Mobile Government, says that m-government is
an analog of e-government in a more unique option.
"Use of cell phones and smartphones for use of public portals,
reading the information placed in the portals of state services,
emergency situations will promote to improvement of the quality of life
and reduction of paper document circulation,” the expert said.
He added that cell phone could also serve an electronic purse.
"Currently the consortium is discussing issues of definition and
regulation of tariffs within the framework of m-government, solution of
which will boost its scale,” Kushchu said.
