The Chinese government will reform its human resources management to attract outstanding professionals to work in the public sector, said Li Yuanchao, head of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Thursday.
Since the country issued a ten-year plan to promote human resources development in June, a total of 43 human resources policies have been issued, Li said at a meeting held in Beijing.
He pledged that more policies will be issued to reform the management system and create a positive working environment throughout the public sector.
He asked the human resources departments of the Party and government to find loopholes in the current system and find solutions to them.
Some policy reform can first be carried out in pilot cities and sectors, he said.
He also suggested that authorities should learn from international best practices.
