Going to the people and paying attention to their grievances is one way to overcome accusations leveled at public servants, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs W.D.J. Seneviratne said.
The Minister said though Ratnapura is known as ‘Ruwanpura’, more than 26 percent of its families live below the poverty line, and struggle to make a living.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the launch of the ‘Praja Sahana’ mobile service, organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs at the Hidallana Seevali Central College, the Minister added that Tamil estate workers and people living in remote areas have benefited from such programmes.
