TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN - Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Haruhiko Kuroda and Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen the strategic partnership between their two organizations to facilitate trade in Asia and the Pacific.
The MOU, signed at ADB's 43rd Annual Meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, aims to build a more active partnership to make it easier to conduct international trade, which in turn will support long-term, sustainable and inclusive development.
