Representatives of 14 political parties Wednesday in Luanda admitted the reliability of the computerised system supporting the voters data bank, saying it guarantees security and transparency to the electoral process.
This recognition was expressed by most of the participants to the meeting with the deputy minister of Territory Administration for Institutional and Electoral Affairs, Adao de Almeida, following a visit to the Voters Data Processing Office.
"I am leaving very impressed because the system represents transparency and gives trust to the electoral process itself," the secretary general of the National Independent Alliance of Angola (ANIA), José Fernandes Fula, told Angop.
The same view was expressed by the representative of the ruling MPLA party , Antonio da Cruz Matias Sebastiao, who suggested the strengthening of security at the Office's perimeter, taking into account its importance from the political point of view.
Other representatives who also expressed satisfaction, on behalf of their parties, include those from UNITA, Daniel Domingos Maluca, FNLA, José Manuel da Graça, New Democracy, Angelino Tchipilica Segunda, and others.
