SADC ministers also reviewed the execution of the plan of activities since the last summit, held last August, and the programme implemented by the organisation’s Secretariat, among other subjects.
The meeting of SADC Council of Ministers precedes 31st Summit of Heads of State and Government set for 17-18 August.
The SADC Summit is happening under the theme "Consolidating the bases of regional integration, infrastructure development to facilitate trade and economic liberalisation.
SADC comprises Angola, South Africa, Botswana, DRC, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
