Motorists in the province will be required to replace their current number plates with the new ones. They will, however, be allowed to keep their current registration numbers.
The Roads and Transport Department said it would undertake a renewal exercise to ensure that number plates are manufactured within the new specifications.
In terms of regulations, all number plate suppliers are required to register with the department. A list of registered suppliers will be published on the department’s website for ease of reference. - BuaNews
