Men will be sending messages about the seriousness of child and women abuse and in one voice, call on other men to stop the abuse.

This year’s theme is “Our children, our future”. It celebrates the 48-hour partnership that International Men’s Day has with Universal Children’s Day, which is celebrated on 20 November and endorsed by the United Nations.

The day aims to promote positive male role models, celebrate the positive contributions men make to society, focus on men’s health and well being, highlight discrimination against men in areas of social services, improve gender relations and promote gender equality and create a safer, better world where people can be safe and grow to reach their full potential. - BuaNews
