The training workshop on Development of Indicators for Performance Monitoring is organized by the Socio-Economic Governance and Management Branch SGMB Division for Public Administration and Development Management DPADM Department of Economic and Social Affairs DESA The Workshop is organized in the context of the Millennium Development Goals MDGs objective of eradicating extreme poverty and hunger This Workshop aims at introducing its participants to the concept of Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation RBME and Strategic Results Framework SRF for institutions teaching how to develop indicators for performance monitoring at the institutional level teaching how to develop indicators for performance monitoring at the project and programme level addressing methodological issues in RBME and conducting group practice sessions hands-on case studies
