||Join the Public Sector ICT Forum on collaboration to drive service delivery throughout the public sector with the aim of improving knowledge sharing among senior ICT decision-makers in the public sector.
Directed by a board of members, including representatives from GITOC and SITA, the Public Sector ICT Forum will focus on providing both online and event-based thought leadership and knowledge sharing platforms for the local community of ICT decision-makers.

Creecy's sentiments echo those of other government ministers who have previously called for more technology solutions to positively impact and improve the lives of citizens.”

The aim is to give an opportunity for CIOs to listen to and engage with leading local and international speakers to provoke dialogue, spark ideas and generate concepts that can be taken back to the CIOs’ own areas of work. This is an informal community that encourages collaboration and thought in the name of improved service delivery.
The Public Sector ICT Forum has approached SITA to speak to its strengths and how these have improved service delivery within the organisation as well as with its clientele. The CSIR will explain more about what it does, and how you can better collaborate with the organisation to bring about change in your organisation.

The second Public Sector ICT Forum event is open for registration.

The next event is just around the corner and will continue to deliver great content, expert opinion and thought leadership.
We are in discussion with leaders from the CSIR, SITA and Stats SA to present their experiences in collaboration that enabled exceptional service delivery to citizens of South Africa.
The event encourages interaction and free discussion. During the Q&A session in September, it became clear that there is a desperate need for collaboration between the various government bodies and departments. These discussions steered the board to the forum’s theme and proposed speakers for the first event in 2017.
A luncheon and networking session will close the event, giving members the chance to engage with speakers and peers, and to debate the subjects discussed.
