Microsoft YouthSpark King William''''''''s Town Event

Description: Microsoft South Africa is embarking on nationwide roadshow to engage the youth and also assist them to start equipping themselves with 21st century world class business and technology skills through its YouthSpark Live events.

SANGONeT is partnering with Microsoft to utilise the roadshow as an opportunity to introduce non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to SANGONeT's SANGOTeCH technology donation programme, which enables NGOs to purchase the information technology solutions of Microsoft and other donating partners at discounts of up to 95 percent of the retail value. The event will also showcase demo on Office 365, Office 2013 and Windows 8.1, in addition to hardware access.

We encourage NGOs in Eastern Cape to join us at the King William's Town event.

About SANGOTeCH

SANGOTeCH is a partnership between SANGONeT and TechSoup Global, a San Francisco-based nonprofit technology capacity building organisation. Since inception in September 2006, more than 1 500 South African NGOs have already benefitted from this service, resulting in savings of more than R200 million on hardware and software purchases for NGOs.

SANGOTeCH is open to South African nonprofit organisations with formal nonprofit status and libraries. In addition to meeting the general programme eligibility criteria, organisations also need to meet the specific requirements of each donor partner.
