| Description: |
International Workshop on eGovernance Policy Evaluation, Measurement and Benchmarking Indicators: Theory and Practice
In these critical public finance conditions, which are obviously becoming a constant of public sector functioning, eGovernment and eGovernance policies, programmes, projects and services and their effects will become increasingly subject of critical examining by laic and professional public. It is expected that public sector decision makers (be it at political or institutional level of decision making) will increasingly need qualified methods for evaluation of policies/activities - ex-ante or ex-post. The basis of each qualified decision making is quality and comparable information based on selected models of indicators and adequate data sources.
Recent theory and practice of evaluation and benchmarking is revealing that models of indicators and related data sources are the most critical issue of evaluation. The workshop will be focused on issues of indicators, their data sources and problems of their usage and evaluation. |
