Please describe in a few words the relationships among the above listed organizations (159):
The Department of Public Service and Administration is charged with leading the transformation of the public service by developing appropriate policies and facilitating their implementation through the strategic interventions and patnership, and maintaining a functioning public service. The Public Service Commission is charged with monitoring and evaluating the trasnformation process and providing ongoing reports to Parliament on the transformation of the public service. It also deals with appeals from public servants on internal decisions relating to their employment status.The Parliamentary Committee on the Public Service acts on behalf of parliament and deals with reports and legislation submitted by the Department and the Commission. This includes receiving public submissions on proposed legislation. Its role is essentially to exercise oversight over the transformation of the public service. See Constitution for further details.
